Crossville,
Fairfield Glade and Cumberland County are located between
Nashville and Knoxville, Tennessee.
We have four
distinct and mild seasons.
Our moderate
temperatures enable our residents to enjoy a variety of outdoor
activities throughout the year. The mild summer days and the cool
summer nights can be attributed to the Cumberland Plateau's
2000-foot elevation, allowing for more comfortable temperatures
and much lower humidity than most areas of the south. The hottest
month of the year, July, has an average relative humidity of only
72%.
We do get occasional snowfall during the 2-3 winter months,
usually followed by rapid thaws due to our generally mild
daytime temperatures .
